Hello my peeps! These past few months went by quickly, but not without it's fair share of trouble and headaches. As you may know, I did complete an eleven page comic, which I'm proud of myself for being able to accomplish. I'm still working on building my portfolio for conventions. I was going to attend my local Stockton Con, but skipped it this year, when I found out I wasn't able to get a booth. I was disappointed, but I will of course try again next year. I'm still hoping to attend Sacanime, and even if I somehow don't attend, I will still have a portfolio accomplished for this year. I will cross my fingers, but I won't hold my breath.
For quite awhile now, I've thought about doing commissions here on Deviantart, but held off, telling myself that my gallery isn't of top notch quality yet (and it still isn't, definitely need to work even harder to improve!). But of course I couldn't fend off the truth for long. The truth was that I was straight up scared to start commissioning. I was afraid of opening commissions, and then being rejected. I realized I need to stop being such a p****, and just DO it. We all have to start somewhere, and I'm doing myself no favors by holding myself back. I know for a fact that I won't be successful right off the bat, but I've decided not to kick myself down anymore. So I'm reaching out to you, my lovelies, and ask that if any of you have experience with doing commissions here on Deviantart, I would love to hear about your good and bad experiences, and if you guys have any particular noteworthy advices. I would appreciate all of what you have to say, I really will<333
